Late Night with Emperor Kevin
Back from the movies rather pleased. I didn't really know what to expect before hand, but the few things I've heard about the movie were good. The movie is, in case you didn't bother reading my other posts, the new movie Predators.
Officially it won't be released here in Sweden until August, but they were holding a special event tonight, with an early viewing of the movie. And since I didn't have anything better to do I decided to find my way in, and that I did.
I might write an smallish review of the movie as well, which would contain some spoilers, so I advice people who haven't seen it to not to read it. Or I'll make an spoilerfree review... or both.. Hmm. Decisions. Whatever I decide I'll let you know.
It's been a rather nice evening. Nice as in: Getting free stuff and watching a movie before thousands of others have the chance.
Free stuff you may ask. Free might not be the right word, since it did cost to get the ticket for the movie. But I choose to call the stuff free anyway.
So what did I get... Well I got an exclusive t-shirt, that supposedly only can be acquired during this evening. I got a blu-ray copy of the original Predator movie with Arnold. And I got a can of Burn Energy Drink, haha. Though the taste they had chosen wasn't that great, I like the original Burn more.
Now it's 2.30am, should go to sleep, but I won't. Laterz!
Stargate Universe
Just finished watching the final episode of the first season of Stargate Universe.
And I can only say one thing.. CLIFFHANGERS ARE ANNOYING >_<
Have to wait until October to see what happens :o
Oh well, guess I should look at it on the bright side, that the season finale was a really exciting one. With guest stars like Richard Dean Anderson and Amanda Tapping ^_^
It's 3.37am right now, and I'm feeling a bit tired. But I don't really want to go to bed either. What to do...
Clash of the Titans
I saw this movie a week ago, but since I'm the lazy guy that I am, I didn't bother to write about it until now ;)
I saw Clash of the Titans in 3D in the cinema, I didn't really know what to expect so I went inside the theater with a pretty open mind. Even so, I must say that I was pretty disappointed with the movie.
It has promise, but they've pressed a too long story arc into a too short movie. The result: The story suffers, the scenes are incredibly short, and there's nothing but action after action with the story left out.
The supposedly "romance" part of the movie is one of the worst I've seen. There's way too little happening between them, and still the producers had to go with the "guy getting the girl in the end" cliché, but because of the lack of story in the movie it is incredibly unbelievable.
I even expected more of the 3D effects, but sadly they were lacking as well. So in conclusion: The movie is too short for the story to fit in properly. Due to this they have to rush from scene to scene in order to get through the complete story arc, and this results in action, action and more action, with limited amount of story in it. And the 3D version offers very little to the experience, so it's not worth the extra money.
